[REVIEW] Rich Collagen Hand Mask by Etude House

I have a pair of boney, dry, wrinkled, overworked hand. I think my hand can pass for a witch hand. I really wish I have a pair of soft hands, unfortunately I work a lot. What to do... life's hard.

There's nothing I can do about it and I'm sure there's no such thing as hand plastic surgery which can make it any better. So I apply hand cream like once every hour whenever I'm in aircond room and scrub it once every week. I thought there's so much I can do with the hand, but I was wrong.


I found out that there's such thing as hand mask as I passed by Etude House the other day.

Content: 1 pair of gloves soaked in hand moisturizer which they claim to contain collagen and 1 pair of plastic gloves to wear it over the gloves.

Price: RM12 for 4 packets (4 pairs) on offer

Pros: 
1. I do feel my hand got moisturized.
2. Smells great.
3. Easy to apply.
4. If you have dry cuticles, it helps a lot.
5. Sooth chapped skin.

(It's quite hard to take a decent photo with one wet hand, sorry for the blur photo)

Cons:

1. Quite expensive. You pay RM3 for a pair of gloves which you will throw away after few minutes. Better invest on a good hand cream which you can apply hundreds of times.

2. When you put it on, you can't do anything because your hands are basically handicap. For a workaholic like me, it's quite hard not to do anything and stare at my hands in gloves.
3. The plastic gloves are basically useless.
4. The massage guide on the packaging doesn't make sense to me. I don't really believe that by pressing certain points on your hand can actually relieve bowel problems. You can convince me otherwise, but I don't think it's biologically approved.


Conclusion: I will consider buying it again, but it's not something that I will go crazy for.
