I speak in alien language, he doesn't understand

Sometimes when I say something, there is a special code in it that he often failed to decode. These are typical things I said that often lead us into arguments.

Me: Your work is more important than me.
What it truly means: Please say something nice that I want to hear. Then I'll escape to some Lala Land and dream of you first until you're finish with your work and free to entertain me again.

Me: I feel that I'm the only one that's been putting effort in this relationship.
What it truly means: Please tell me you appreciate my effort. Encourage me and tell me that I deserve you, that's why I'm putting so much effort in it. Tell me it's worth it.

Me: I know you're seeing other woman.
What it truly means: I'm proud to have you. I want to tell the whole world that I'm yours. Will you please let me do that?

Me: You never have time for me.
What it truly means: It's been very long since we go out. Let's go out for dinner sometime.

Me: You never care about me.
What it truly means: I want some hugs and kisses.

Me: My ex is so much better than you.
What it truly means: I put more hope on you than my ex. You're different. I don't want you to be like him. I wish you can tell me I don't deserve him, that's why I belong to you now.

Me: I'm better off with other guys.
What it truly means: I want to know you're the best for me. I'm a little insecure at the moment. Just hug me and say the three magic words.
