Spirit of Aloha!

I'm already sick of being sick. All I do is just lie on my bed and stare at the sky. Pretty much nothing to do. So I took my iPod and start doing some research. I gained a little knowledge on Hawaii, the place where I loooooooove, although I never been there.

Everyone knows Hawaiian greets each other Aloha. But do you know what those greetings mean? It's quite a meaningful one. A is for Akahai which means gentleness. L is for Lokahi, harmony. O is for Olu'olu, it stands for agreeable. H is for Ha'a ha'a meaning modesty. And lastly, A is for Ahonui means patient. These make up the spirit of Aloha. The peaceful Hawaiian codified their spirit of Aloha into law. This is no joke. It's listed under ss 5 - 7.5 of the Hawaii Revised Statute. Amazing!

Here's a little mollie that i doodled. Again...nothing to do....

Do you also know...there's such thing called the green flash in Hawaii? It happens during sunset and especially when the sky is clear. When the sunset, the green color from the light spectrum bend the most creating a sudden flash. It appears for only a second. When I mean a second, it is literally a second. You might miss it in a blink of eye. The local believe that when a couple watch the green flash together, they will live forever together.

This is photo of the green flash that I googled.
